We recognise that as a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19) the Government has imposed social distancing measures and it is important that the public stick to these. The Government has also been clear that during this period landlords must continue to complete essential repairs and gas safety checks using appropriate protective measures.
Home Safety Checks are important to safeguard our tenants and their homes. Although COVID-19 poses a risk to health, there are also risks posed if we are unable to carry out annual checks in your homes, so it is important that we still carry these out.
If someone in your household is vulnerable please call us to discuss additional protection that can be put into place to ensure your appointment is as safe as possible. Speak to us if you or a household member is:
- Aged over 70
- Pregnant
- Has an underlying health condition which increases the risk from COVID-19
- Self-isolating during to COVID-19
