Robert began his career in the private sector, where he worked in business development and project management roles. He later moved into the Social Housing Sector, and for the past 12 years Robert has established and led large-scale asset management and development programmes for housing associations, building and maintaining thousands of affordable homes across South West England and Wales.
 

Robert oversees GCH’s investment in our existing 4,500 homes to ensure they are Safe and Decent and is leading on a new investment programme to improve energy efficiency and reduce our Carbon Footprint. Within Gloucester, Robert has built over 500 affordable homes in and around Gloucester and has led on some key projects in the city including the Tanners Hall Development which incorporates medieval remains. 

In his spare time, Robert is a trustee of a national gambling charity, helping them to grow their residential treatment portfolio. He can also often be seen screaming from the touchlines of one of Gloucester’s ‘Old Boys’ Teams.
