We have reaffirmed our commitment to inclusion, belonging and opportunity by signing the Inclusive Gloucestershire Pledge as part of National Inclusion Week 2026.
The pledge brings together organisations who are committed to creating more inclusive, welcoming, and accessible communities across Gloucestershire.
Speaking on behalf of GCH, CEO Guy Stenson said:
“The pledge aligns closely with our commitment to create an inclusive workplace for colleagues and delivering fair, respectful and accessible services for our customers.
We know that people thrive when they feel respected, included and able to be themselves. At GCH, our vision is to create homes and communities where people can thrive, and that starts with creating a culture where colleagues feel valued, supported and empowered to be their best selves.
We also know that we deliver better services when we genuinely understand the people and communities we serve. Inclusion is about making sure people feel valued, respected and able to be themselves, and recognising that we are stronger because of the different experiences and perspectives people bring.
On a personal level, I believe that everyone deserves to be treated fairly, with dignity, respect and kindness. By signing this pledge today, we are reaffirming our commitment to those principles and standing alongside our peers and partners across Gloucestershire to help build a county where everybody has the opportunity to succeed and feel they belong.
