A warm welcome to our two new Customer Experience Committee members, Melissa and Dave.
Melissa and Dave both live in Matson and are keen customer advocates.
Melissa is an active member of the Matson community. She helps to organise local events, manages social media, runs art classes and supports residents as a listening ear and a voice for concerns. As a mum, she brings care and dedication to everything she does, alongside a passion for creating a connected and supportive community where everyone has a voice.
Dave has lived in Matson since 2007. After returning to education as a mature student, he gained a first-class degree in Modern Languages and European Studies. His career has included a range of roles, from trades and translation to university lecturing. Alongside this, music has been a constant, and since 2002 he has worked as a peripatetic guitar teacher in schools across Gloucestershire.
The committee supports the Board by making sure customers’ voices are heard and acted on. It helps ensure feedback from customers shapes our decisions and that we meet Consumer Regulatory Standards. Together, Melissa and Dave will help strengthen the customer voice at GCH, bringing insight from their lived experience and their work within the community.
We look forward to working with them.
