National Social Housing Safety and Compliance Week
We are proud to be supporting National Social Housing Safety & Compliance Week, running from 7th – 13th March 2022. The week is dedicated to bringing the sector together with the agenda of transforming safety culture now and in the future.
The theme of this year’s week is ‘Challenge for Safety’ and is dedicated to shining a spotlight on safety and compliance at all levels within Social Housing.
At GCH we have always taken your safety seriously, but this week, and beyond, is about what more we can all do now, to avert potential disasters of the future by committing to small and large actions today and tomorrow. Between April 2021 and January 2022, we have managed to carry out the following essential services:
- 5,263 home safety visits.
- 20 dry riser tests.
- 65 fire panel tests.
- 300 call point checks.
- 134 fire equipment tests.
- 200 vertical lift services.
- 95 stair lift services.
- 66 communal fire risk assessments.
- 654 domestic electrical tests.
- 88 communal electrical tests.
- 150 water safety tests.
- 6816 gas appointments.
