The new partnership has enabled basic repairs supplies and materials will be accessible to PropertyCare operatives from their own ‘pop-up store’.

The latest RFID (radio frequency identification) technology will be used to track all materials and stocks to ensure that the required items are available to PropertyCare operatives.

Lee Dorrington, GCH’s PropertyCare Manager comments “Being based in a central location allows for flexible access to materials needed for undertaking repairs to our 4500 homes across the County. We hope that the new system will make repairs processes more efficient and improve customer experience.  We are really pleased to be working in partnership with Buildbase on this ground-breaking and first of its kind project.”

Roy Mason, Director at Buildbase added “We pleased to be working with GCH to lead the industry with the latest RFID Technology, this PopUp Store is the very first in the UK to use this technology to automatically track products used from the Store. It creates a quick, safe and effective way for GCH to obtain materials to maintain their homes.”
