Dave Roach

Born and raised in Kent, Dave spent his early years travelling across Europe, living for periods in France, Cornwall and Bristol. He has lived in Matson since 2007, when he took on the lease of a first-floor maisonette.

After returning to education as a mature student, Dave gained a first-class degree in Modern Languages and European Studies. His career has been varied, including roles as a builder, painter and decorator, translator and university lecturer.

Music has been a constant throughout his working life. Since 2002, he has worked as a peripatetic guitar teacher in schools across Gloucestershire, combining his passion for teaching with performance.
