Gloucester City Homes is pleased to have held its second community impact project of 2021. Following on from work at Robinswood School in July, staff have also completed outdoor transformations in the Kingsholm area.

On the 20th August a team of 15 GCH staff turned their hand to gardening in Kingsholm, creating new beds with roses and bulbs and planting and tidying overgrown areas in the area.

A Kingsholm resident commented “Its great to see the area looking so tidy and we are looking forward to seeing some bright coloured blooms next year. Thank you GCH”

Mandi Holt, Community Investment Team Leader at GCH added “It is really great to get back out into our communities following a year off. Community impact days are a big part of GCH and we are really pleased that the work benefits and can be enjoyed by so many local people.”

GCH has plans to hold a host of other community impact projects over the summer and into early September. This will include gardening and outdoor work at The Phoenix Centre, The Lampreys, Heron School, Widden School, The Venture, The Cathedral and James Hopkins Trust.
