GCH Rated as Top 40 Employer

Gloucester City Homes (GCH) is pleased to have been renamed as a ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For’ in the not-for-profit category, placing at number 40.

The achievement was announced at an awards ceremony in London on 19th February in the prestigious nationwide list of companies.

The award recognises excellence in the workplace across areas including leadership and organisational values, training and prospects, wellbeing, teamwork, employee engagement, and how the organisation contributes to the wider community.

Ashley Green, Chief Executive, commented “It is a fantastic achievement to finish at number 40, a big improvement on placing at 71st just two years ago. This improvement is testimony to all of our wonderful employees and the care and passion that they put into their work each day.”

The accreditation is based on feedback from 148 staff, which examines the ins-and-outs of company life and work environment.

Nikki Cameron, Tenancy Sustainment Advisor and one of GCH’s Employees of the Year said “I was proud to represent GCH at the awards event and am pleased that our hard work has been recognised through such a prestigious award and a great position.” Asif Bhatti, Chair of GCH adds: “I am very proud of our organisation where employees are motivated and often go the extra mile on behalf of tenants. A content workforce reflects strongly upon the service delivered to tenants and the Gloucester community.”
