Biodiversity in Kingsholm and Westgate

As part of our commitment to create communities where people can thrive, we are starting to introduce native planting in our green spaces around the Westgate and Kingsholm areas. We have allocated around 2800 square metres of green space and £3,000 to our biodiversity scheme, including planters in The Dukeries, heritage fruit trees in Sweetbriar Road, and wildflower verges in Westgate and Kingsholm.

We hope the benefits to our communities will be many: cleaner air, better physical and mental health, and the chance for people of all ages to to get involved.
