Anne Southern
Executive Director, Business Resources
Anne is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of financial and treasury management, governance, IT and HR at GCH. By having these functions together, Anne is responsible for maximising the support provided to colleagues in Customer Experience in their delivery of valued services to our residents.
Prior to joining GCH, Anne worked in a number of North West based housing associations of varying size, both traditional and stock transfer, since 1996 including 13 years as Corporate Services Director at a housing association in Manchester. Anne also has experience as a non-executive director, both within the sector and for other non-profit organisations.
Anne is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing having completed CIH’s Experienced Professional route to membership in 2015. In addition, Anne has completed the Association of Corporate Treasurers’ Certificate in International Treasury Management.
