The Winter Fuel Payment returns for pensioners this autumn with new regulations that come into effect from 15th September 2025.
The Winter Fuel Payments this year are for those born on or before 21st September 1959 and you were living in England or Wales in the qualifying week. The qualifying week this year is 15th – 21st September.
Importantly, payments will be made automatically with no claim required – Please note there is NO NEED TO CLAIM the Winter Fuel Payment so please be vigilant.
