Your Neighbourhood Patch Team

Your Neighbourhood Patch Team provides a wide range of valued housing related services and support;

  • Neighbourhood Manager: Responsible for key housing issues related to your homes and neighbourhoods including: low level ASB, mutual exchanges, tenancy breaches and neighbourhood inspections.
  • Income Account Manager: Supporting Tenants to pay their rent on time as well as identifying and supporting those who might need assistance.
  • Enhanced Support Coach: Working with community partners, identifying and supporting tenants who require additional help to access services; ensuring they can manage their home and tenancy.
  • Community Safety & Enforcement Manager: Working with tenants and residents to address serious anti-social behaviour, managing safeguarding cases and tenancy breaches.
  • Tenancy Sustainment Advisors: Working across all Neighbourhood Patch Teams providing support and advice to tenants on managing and making the most of their income and ensuring they are accessing welfare benefits where appropriate.

Housing officers are responsible for a particular estate or group of properties. The role involves supporting tenants and encouraging them to take part in our tenant panel that help shape the community in which they live.

This job would typically include:

  • assessing the needs of people applying for housing
  • allocating vacant accommodation
  • carrying out regular inspections to make sure all properties are in a good state of repair
  • dealing with anti-social behaviour and broken tenancy agreements
  • referring tenants to appropriate sources of benefits and welfare advice
  • setting rents and dealing with payments and arrears
  • arranging for legal action to be taken where necessary
  • gathering statistical information and preparing reports
  • attending tenants’ meetings

This role would involve working closely with other agencies, such as social services departments and welfare rights organisations.
