Gloucester City Homes (GCH) has just launched 3 new homes at Amberley Road in Matson.
Built on former waste land, three 2-bed houses were launched. The properties have been let through the rent to buy scheme, which allows tenants to rent at a price 20% less than market value with the option to buy the property after 5 years. This scheme aims to help people into home ownership in the future.
GCH has now built 39 new homes since launching as a housing association in 2015, with 24 of these homes in Matson. Further work is underway to deliver a further 37 properties across the City.
Ashley Green, Chief Executive at GCH commented: “We are delighted to launch another development in Matson and it shows our commitment to improve the area and deliver much needed homes. These homes offer an exciting opportunity for our tenants and their families. We are really proud of our new developments across the City and they show our commitment to improve our homes and build successful communities.”
GCH would like to thank all local partners who helped to make this development happen, including Aqua Construction, Quattro Design and AFA.
