Gloucester City Homes (GCH) has been reaccredited the British Standards Institute ISO 9001 for its quality management systems. GCH first achieved this standard in 2006 which recognises the way in which the organisation’s management systems are delivered by all staff, on behalf of its tenants.
Fiona Haddock, Business Improvement Manager at GCH who has led on the inspection said: “The Assessor looks at how we convert strategies, policies and procedures into day to day delivery for our tenants. We have quality management systems in place to ensure the integrity of our operational delivery, so that services are consistently delivered in accordance with legislation and our governance arrangements.”
Rob Wharton, Director of Resources at GCH added “It is so important that we have very clear processes in place to ensure tenant’s money is spent wisely and we provide value for money at all levels within the organisation. We have received very positive feedback on how we deliver services to our tenants.”
Rob went on to say “GCH prides itself on having a very clear strategic vision for tenants, through service delivery, community investment and asset management. Like any successful organisation it needs rules and processes to operate and this inspection provides the assurance to tenants that the organisation is in good shape going forward.”
