David Johnson

David Johnson is a financial professional with over 30 years experience. David has worked in a variety of large and small commercial, service related corporations prior to the last fifteen years being within the social housing sector.
He has a broad experience in financial reporting, budgetary setting and control, long term financial planning and statutory reporting.
David has also been an active and participating member of leadership teams involved in strategic business transformation projects. He has great experience in financial department re-design, building and developing new teams to meet changing corporate requirements. This includes initiating and project managing numerous software implementation projects including mobile working in conjunction with just in time procurement.
He has extensive treasury management experience, leading on new financing initiatives, foreign currency transactions and hedging strategies, setting up lines of credit in the U.S.A., property charging and valuations etc.
David has broad contract negotiation experience for procurement of services, goods etc., and management of internal and external audit processes.
David has run his own business offering financial consultancy services since 2016.
He is a qualified accountant, and gained an Executive M.B.A. from The University of Birmingham University in 1998.
