Ashley is responsible for the strategic management of the organisation, shaping the opportunities within our operating environment in partnership with the Board. He ensures that we deliver high-quality services to our tenants and leaseholders as well as deliver new homes to meet housing need. He leads the Executive Management Team and is accountable to the GCH Board.
He is a professional member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating & Valuation; Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. He has a postgraduate strategic leadership qualification and an ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching & Developing Leadership and Mentoring; combined with the INLPTA NLP Diploma.
Ashley is a consultant for the LGA Gateway Review Team assessing major strategic projects for public sector organisations. He sits on a range of relevant networking groups to advise and influence, including:
- House Mark’s Housing Association Steering Group Board
- National Housing Federation’s South West Leadership Group
- The Shadow Board of the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to steer funding of £35m through the European Social Investment Fund
- Gloucestershire Housing and Communities Partnership of Housing providers
Michael has worked in Asset management for over 16 years and was appointed to Director of Property Services in March 2015. Prior to this appointment he was Head of Property Services and integral to the company achieving 100% completion of their decent homes programme. He is responsible for developing and embedding the Strategic vision for the company through the Asset Management, Development and the Maintenance Services. By aligning these three areas of the business he aims to maximise the best use of resources, offer excellent service delivery to residents, and make a positive contribution towards the local community.
In early 2010 he completed an Institute in Leadership and Management Course Level 5 and in 2011 he further improved his leadership skills through attending the Chartered Institute of Housing Executive Leadership Programme.
Michael is currently developing his portfolio to deliver new affordable homes in the City and asset prioritisation.
Anita has been part of the Executive Management Team since the company started in 2005, originally as the lead for Human Resources and from 2011 with responsibility for all frontline housing services.
Anita is a CIPD qualified Human Resources specialist with over 20 years’ experience, who brings significant strategic management expertise to the organisation. She has extensive experience of change management and a demonstrable track record of success, ensuring that GCH was the first ALMO to secure the Achievement level of the Equality Framework and attaining the Investors in People Gold Award. She has implemented a range of strategies which have seen GCH become a champion of diversity.
Anita is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the delivery of all housing services and organisational development, ensuring excellent services to the national standards of social housing regulation.
Anita is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, has completed its strategic leadership programme and successfully completed a degree in housing with support.
